The Harris Home would like to give a heartfelt thanks to PPG for its sponsorship and support during its Brighter Days Ahead painting event. During a conversation with a community partner, Harris Home for Children Executive Director, Jason Quick, expressed the organization’s desire to repaint the entire campus dormitory. The partner immediately put him touch with Ian Poulton, a local executive with PPG Industries. The next day, Ian made a campus visit and immediately put together a local PPG team and plan to make the dorm painting idea a reality.
Paramount to the success of this event was the support of David Stewart and Dana Chambers (pictured). Not only did they manage the entire project, but also grabbed a paint roller and personally provided some of the much needed labor to get the job done. When completed, PPG provided a total of $12,986.12 in paint, materials, supplies and labor towards the project. Without their generous support, this project would not have been impossible. Thank you again, PPG, for becoming a valuable Harris Home for Children Community Partner!
